Metalcraft is the brainchild of Martin Leworthy, its founder and creator. Martin began his career as a young lad working with metal initially in the auto trade.
As a lover of the outdoors, British wildlife, and birds in particular, inspired him to create beautiful metal artwork for others to enjoy.
Meticulously Defined Process
At MetalCraft, our process is meticulously defined to offer the most outstanding designs and enduring Corten Steel home & garden products.
Corten (COR-TEN) Steel is a weathering steel. Enduring and resistant to weathering and rust, our products will last a long time.
Naturally our products change colour over time as the outer metal forms a rust that does not penetrate through the product.
Once you open the packaging of one of our birds, wildlife or animal art you'll be presented with a beautifully polished art product ready to be hammered into you chosen location. A tree, a fence or perhaps even a wall!
The product will initially be a grey metal and over the following weeks and months, as natural oxidation takes place, your beautifully british crafted MetalCraft will change to a more orange brown resembling a rusted and weathered piece of art.
