About Bats:
Not everyone has been lucky enough to see a bat and they are now a protected species in Britain. Bats are nocturnal flying mammals which are more agile than most birds. they are most often seen in twilight as they feast on insects.
Bat's forelimbs are adapted as wings and they are the only mammals capable of true and sustained flight. Bats are more manoeuvrable than most birds, flying with their very long spread-out digits covered with a thin membrane. Bats also help distribute the seeds of these important plants, so they can reproduce and create more fruit for us humans to eat and enjoy. Without pollinating and seed-dispersing bats, many ecosystems would gradually die.

What is Corten® Steel?

Will my MetalCraft products rust?
Our Metalcraft products are carefully cut from Premium Corten® Steel so yes, they do rust, but they won't disintegrate as it is a weathering steel; the patina seals in the steel offering lasting protection against environmental conditions.
Why does my MetalCraft product change colour?
Once placed outside, our MetalCraft products develop a patina which gives the appearance of 'changing colour'; this patina develops uniformly over the product and darkens over time. Our customers agree that our products look incredible!
